Couples often get to share their story along the way during the engagement and we at imagine nation love to get to know our couples as much as we can. As much as possible we want them to feel comfortable around us and consider them our new found friends. :D And what was interesting about our couple today, was that Bea was actually a survivor of the Infanta Quezon tragedy back in 2004! I just got the shivers from her stories and I was in awe how she bounced back from the experience and now just radiate much joy and peace. The only way her family was rescued back then was by a rescue chopper! I remember back in 2004 I aided in a medical mission in Real and just saw how devastated the place was. I was on my way discovering God once again and it was a memorable experience for me. So maybe today God was reminding me of that experience is calling out to me. This shoot was a blessing. :D I got reminded of how got me to where I am right now..I got reminded of my first love. :D This passion for photography.. was a gift from Him..

ps. thanks carlo for letting me play with your 50mm 1.8.. dang you have seduced me! :D

pss. first outdoor stint of my new bibi, david.. hehe!

Some play time haha :D

I fell in love with these quirky trees..:D

Upon leaving Fort Santiago, we asked permission to shoot by this cool sign across the street

Guess what was the background of this shot! :D

Anyone recognize the blurred part here? hehe

hello there horsey!

After this shot some guardia sibils were already watching us.. haha

We stumbled upon a new events venue nearby Manila Cathedral and it was so nice!

Off to baywalk, and we were greeted by an awesome skyline.

And this is where Erwin and Bea met, one year ago. :D This is where they work and this is where they fell in love. :D

  3. what’s so interesting in this album is that its so simple. so simple to the extent that i was able to connect with your couple. in this day and age when photographers are focused on taking the “perfect” shot, they often forget that pictures are all about the people in it. that its for the couple. and in this album, you did just that :) you can do both, “edgy” and “simple” shots :) flexible according to the couple that youre working with :) real.
