Bahia Beach Hotel, San Diego CA

My first international wedding shoot! I was totally psyched! So this will be quite a long blog entry of pictures!! I love the light in the US! Makes everything cheery and bright! Praise God for good weather. Shooting a wedding in the states was really a good experience for me! Lot’s of firsts and learnings! An unforgettable trip!  If there was one thing I remembered to take home with me, it’s that no matter where weddings are, there is always something new to shoot, and so many smiles to capture… :D

I loved Jacob’s ring, it says “My beloved is mine and I am his” in hebrew..cool!

I’d like to call these pics, “daughters.”

Ah boys will be boys eh? Check out the room! :D

Jacob getting ready for the big day :)

The brothers loosening up with a crazy dance down the aisle.

And here comes the bride!

Tita or Auntie Rose was all smiles during the ceremony. :D

Love how this pic turned out! Jacob was the one who threw the veil in the air..good job!

They made me take this shot…

It was dancing all night long!

I think tita rose took the cake for this little dance number! :D haha

Rissa Bertel Paulson: Hey Jay Jay!! it's Rissa and Jacob. We've been so busy with everything for these past month that I really haven't gotten a chance to personally thank you for beautifully capturing our wedding. During the wedding day, there were so much emotions all at once that it's hard to take a step back and just simply enjoy it and take everything in, so when we looked through the pics it really brought us back on just how special that day was for Jacob and I. We are so blessed to have met you and will be forever grateful for making our big day simply unforgettable!! God Bless You!! =) Rissa & Jacob =) [Wednesday, January 14th, 2009, 12:03 am]

Woot the wifi here in Taipei airport is working! :D Currently waiting out a 4 hour wait for my connecting flight back to manila..rawr.
So i decided to share this unforgettable experience in LA!
After last minute shopping in LA and while I was heading back to my uncle’s house, I hit something on the road and both my right side tires go flat!!

I managed to get to park the car at a nearby parking lot and called for help! my gulay my heart was rushing.. and it was a few hours before i head for the airport! whew good thing the car rental service assured me that the car would be taken care of. So I left the car and my uncle picked me up and I returned the car keys to the car rental office near LAX. WHEEEEEEWWWWW.  what an afternoon! I then headed over to LAX and checked in. They were quite strict with hand carry weight and had to lighten up my load. Good thing the girl attendant was kind enough to let me go with my luggage.

The flight to Taipei was smooth and comfy. I arrived here around 5am.. yawn..ooh I caught a nice sunrise!

Well manila.. see you in a bit! :D wee!
