Con booked me via the internet way back last year and we just kept communication via ym since they were based in the US. They just came in a week before their wedding this saturday, and good thing they were able to make time for an engagement session! These two were really game for anything. Funniest moment was that when we were checking out a tree that Pat could possibly climb, we were surprised to find him leaping for a branch already! haha! A fun fun shoot!

It was a shoot that I played around with available colors around the place and mixed them up to compliment the colorful personalities of these two.:D

My funny Valentine’s wedding. Why funny you may ask? Funny because God surprised me with one sweet miracle during the wedding. Moments before we were to leave for Coconut Palace from Sofitel, the skies turned gray and it started to drizzle… then Dior’s eyes started to drizzle also as we headed back to the suite to rest a bit. We gathered everyone in the room and started to pray for the weather. And wouldn’t you believe it, once we got to  Coconut Palace…it stopped drizzling and glorious light filled the venue. It was neither hot nor was it cold. It was perfect.

One of my fave shots in weddings is capturing portraits of the bride while she’s waiting to finally walk down the aisle. And Dior here was simply radiant.

When I was informed that a firetruck was picking me up at the studio in the morning for my engagement shoot, I was stoked haha! From the get-go, I knew this would be an extraordinary day.. and so it was! hehe. I had tons of fun trying out the fire horn of the truck! As I did shooting this prenup. I learned a lot about fires also and how hard it is to be a fireman actually..gotta give those guys loads of respect! Thanks for sharing your stories Brian! Charm, your laugh is infectious! Thanks for being game in doing the crazy things of the day’s shoot!
