Brian and Wig’s wedding finally! Gosh this wedding was filled with miracles. One big miracle was the weather! We were at the center of a signal number 3 storm just the day before the wedding. People though have been praying hard! And we woke up to bright clear sunny blue sky the next day! God is awesome! The venue of the wedding was nothing more than spectacular! La Playa was a sight to behold with every nook and cranny designed artistically and tastefully! A sort of Bali style mixed with intricate Filipino architecture. We had tons of fun shooting the preps and details! Well enough talking and let’s get on with the pics! This will be a long post! Enjoy!

Welcome to paradise!

Did I say that we absolutely had a blast shooting the details?

I met Wig back in Isabela about 3 years ago as we stayed in their house during a youth camp that I volunteered to help out.

Brian on the other hand I met back in a singles retreat that I attended in 2006. He has super long hair back then! And he became my breakout leader.

Wig’s gown was actually from her sister. Beautiful!

I love beach weddings!

This is an occupational hazzard that I sometime face in my line of work.. bwahahaha!

Now it’s time for Wig to finally walk down to the beach!

When a father hugs her daughter just before they walk down the aisle together, time kinda stands still for a few seconds. One of my favorite moments to capture and I think a lot pips captured it too!

The sun was setting just perfectly!

The reception was a blast too!

Whew that was a long post! The next morning we had breakfast with everyone by the beach. Everyone was wearing white and we gathered them up the rocks for a group shot.. yowza!

Pangil Beach Resort

We arrive at the resort after lunch, settle in, take a long nap and wake up for the LUAU!!!! haha The day was gloomy but at around 6pm, the sun suddenly showed itself and let out a glorious sunset skyline! It was my first time to simply stare into such beauty! We just had to grab Brian and Wig for some pics! Awessoooommmeee!!! Afterwards we prayed as a team together with the couple for great weather the next day and thanked Him for a glimpse the sun!

The families organized this Luau for as a treat for everyone who came. And my gosh was it such a feast!! I’ve never seen that much food! And to think this was just a pre-wedding party! haha! Let me walk you through the pics below..

Ahhh what a perfect way to relax before going back to Manila! We trooped over to Potipot Island which was just about 10 mins away from our resort. Thanks Rex and Imee for bringing the team there! It’s nice to chill and hang loose after the wedding! Sun was out too! Summer love!

This was the start of several out destination weddings during the month of may.. and what a great way to start it off in far off Zambales! Candelaria is about 5 hours away from Manila. It was our first time there and the summer heat melted us like popsicles in a  microwave. hehe. It was a great thing though that we stayed overnight to rest. The next day we ventured across the beautiful island of Potipot! But that’s saved for a the next post! Here are the weddings pics first!

The weather started to sway from sunny to gloomy as we started taking portraits… but Rex and Imee can’t stop smiling!

On our way to the reception it started to pour.. HARD! Everything was wet. I was sighing inside… BUT..

.. we managed to go on with the festivities and surprisingly a lot of people still stayed despite the rain and I think it was one FUN reception!

It was so fun that Toto joined WILLINGLY the garter game.. bwahahahaha

It was so fun that the Imee’s mom rushed over to us to offer us Tequila Rose while shooting.. hehe!

And it was so fun coz Rex shed some tears at the end.
