I imagined that this wedding would be something out of the ordinary. The biggest highlight for me was being able to get permission to shoot inside the Powerplant Mall It was already after the reception and Ian and Margaux was still game!! We had so much FUN!!!! We took tons and I mean tons of pics! What’s the chance of getting to this again right??  Enjoy the pics! God is great!

Last May 16 I was given the opportunity to give a short career talk about photography in UP in front of about maybe 60 4th year high school students from different schools. It was organized by (teacher) Tin Tan, the wife of our fellow photographer Mike Tan. It kinda felt weird now being the one in front talking rather than be the one seated listening. My am getting old! haha

It was fun being able to share my passion for photography and hope got to inspire those kids to someday follow a career that they would love to do. Maybe some of those kids would be great photogs someday!

The great Anawangin 2 day Engagement shoot!

Rustin and Pauline perhaps has the craziest story of how they got together! They were set up by their moms years back while Rustin was in the US and Pauline was here in the Philippines. Pauline is fondly called “Mutya” by her family and her mom did not like anyone for her but Rustin, whom she has not yet met in her life! Same goes with Rustin, his mom did not approve of any of her girlfriends and was saving him for Mutya. Because of this Rustin developed a “hate” for Mutya eventhough they never met personally! And when he finally got to meet her on this one visit to the Philippines about a year ago, he didn’t like her at all! But Mutya’s mom asked her to take out Rustin around Manila while he was here with much hesitation hehe. But as they got to know each other, Rustin grew to like Mutya! He then extended his stay here in the Philippines and eventually pursued Mutya. And guess who are their biggest supporters? Their moms..haha They are to be married this coming June 13. This couple has probably the greatest “love-hate” story I ever heard haha!
