It’s always a privilege to be able to bless others. When I was still working for Jzone, I became teammates with the campus missionaries and Nina was one of them. One of the things that I promised the campus missionaries when I was then starting my wedding photography career was that I got their back when they do get married. And on August 22 09, I saw and shot nina walk down the aisle. The Jzone team was a big support and they were our prayer warriors when our family went through a tough time with my mom’s battle with cancer. And I am forever grateful.

To hear their testimony is a sweet reminder of how God just simply and surely works. You can have the grandest wedding plans in motion but in the end God still will have the last say on the wedding day.

The wedding was simple, heart-warming, faithful, true, God-centered, and I was blessed.

I got reminded of how God indeed makes weddings beautiful.

I recently got to direct and shoot a debutant avp. Meet Cat! A bubbly, cheery, all smiles girl who will celebrate her 18th next month. It was my first time to use the video mode of the d90.. and I must say it’s quite addicting! Here’s some clips I put together from the shoot… excited to see the final version of this avp.

Once in a blue moon, a civil wedding comes along.. and sometimes it just surprises me! Barbie has been following my blog since last year and she really wanted me to be the photographer for their wedding. When I stepped inside the cabana it was my first time to actually meet her!

They fixed up the wedding in 1 week and they booked me 2 days before the wedding! haha Talk about last minute! But these two were such a joy to shoot and we found ourselves clicking the afternoon away and we forgot that it was a civil wedding! hehe It was my first time to meet Anselm and Barbie who both work for the Emirates and now reside in Dubai.  Check out some of my fave snaps during the wedding. Anselm and Barbie said they would have a church wedding in 2011, and hoping to be there as well!

Daniel and Lucia already got married in the US and they decided to hold a grand reception her in Philippines for their family and friends. Man what a reception it was! It was close to a talent show concert with multiple numbers! Yowza!  Celebrations like these are always a joy to shoot!
