When it came to the reception, we wanted it to have a relaxed homey feel. For the presidential tables, it was filled with some vintage items from Tine’s dad’s collection. For the guest tables we had again some candies, minute maid set, some photos and unique table name cards. Manila Philharmonic Orchestra provided soft jazz music as people started to settle in. Let’s go through the reception pictures now!
When I asked Tine to be my girlfriend couple of years back, it was at a Hot Air Festival. So we thought of having a ceiling decor of a hot air balloon!
We thought of incorporating the vintage collection of Tine’s dad in the reception because she grew up with these and became fond of them.
Making the guest tables interesting was a challenge! haha! Everything at the tables were bring me home items too.. so at the end of the reception all the tables were wiped out!
Food at Manila Polo club was awesome… although we only got to taste a bit of it.. glad it filled the tummies of our guests
Ok for our wedding cake we didn’t want the normal cake and wine.. so we did Oreo cookies and milk! haha!
Reception started with a family dance.. it was a joy to see the entire family participating in this! We really wanted to involve our families as much as we could during our wedding. For it was indeed a celebration of families coming together.
Cake time! ;D or cookie time!
Our singing bee game was a competitive one…
What would a wedding be without some speeches.
Tine’s dad even sang us a song!
That’s our coordinator and good friend, Christine Ong Te!:D Multi-tasking here.. as she sang us a song too!
Thanks to Mango Red for doing our prenup! We loved it. Thanks to our friends in the wedding industry who came! Much love!
